Villa Rosabella at San Regolo in Brolio

Villa Rosabella is the first property as you enter the hamlet. Steps lead up to a large paved terrace part of which is covered which you cross to reach the front door. Inside there are the traditional terracotta tiled floors and tiled and beamed ceilings throughout.
The entrance opens directly into a pretty light and airy lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is arranged in an ‘L’ shape towards the back of the room and has painted fitted units with dishwasher, oven, gas hobs and a free standing fridge/freezer. To one side are a wooden dining table and six chairs. There is a comfortable sofa and flat screen TV with satellite and a DVD player. To the right a set of glass double doors opens into the garden which wraps around three sides of the property.
From the living area a short corridor to the left takes you to the ground floor bedroom which has a double bed, dressing table with matching painted wardrobe and double doors open onto the garden. At the end of the corridor next to the bedroom is an attractively tiled bathroom with shower, WC, basin and bidet.
Stairs from the corridor take you up to the first floor; at the top of the stairs on the left is the second bathroom with large corner shower, basin, WC and bidet. To the right is a storage cupboard. The master bedroom has a double bed with hand painted ornate metal headboard, a dressing table and wardrobe. Please note that it is possible to change the beds to twins if required, please advise us of the configuration you require at the time of booking.
Outside the garden area is part paved and part grass and wraps around three sides of the villa. The large paved terrace area is furnished with dining table, chairs and parasol, which is perfect for relaxing and outside dining.
A bright pretty villa for four people with two bedrooms and two bathrooms surrounded on three sides by its own private garden and outside terraces.

Villa Rosabella at San Regolo in Brolio

San Regolo in Brolio is a lovely brand new hamlet with a small collection of villas located on the edge of the village of San Regolo, and is within easy walking distance of the centre of the village.
The hamlet consists of 5 buildings housing a total of 8 apartments, each of the villas have been thoughtfully and tastefully put together, with each accommodation having their own private garden and terrace. In addition, each villa also has its own private garage for guests use.
Located on a lower terrace to the rear of the hamlet is the shared salt water swimming pool. This is a fantastic location boasting wonderful views across the vineyards and countryside to Siena and Monte Amiata in the distance behind the medieval city.
From the hamlet it’s a short walk up hill to the famous Brolio castle, which is surrounded by its own vineyards. You can visit the castle where the 32nd Baron Ricasolli and his family live. There is a restaurant serving traditional Tuscan food and you can have a wine tasting in the tasting rooms.

Pool Info
The large infinity salt water pool is located on a lower lever than the houses. It is surrounded by a pretty lawn and paved area, with a shower to one side. The entire pool area is fenced, making this an ideal property for young families. There are sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool.
The wide open views over the countryside, onto Siena and beyond can be admired from this area while you enjoy a cooling dip after a warm Tuscan day. The pool can be seen from the houses.
There is a very shallow baby pool, divided from the main pool by a metal railing, it's a good size for children to play in.
It is 15x6 meters and 1.2-2.2 meters deep. Open from May to October.

Nearest town
The nearest village is San Regolo, which is a tiny village about 100 meters away. Within 1km you get to Brolio Castle which is a lovely wine estate with a wine tasting room, and a castle to visit. Here there is a second good restaurant. Gaiole in Chianti is a town about 11km away, it has a grocery shop, baker, post office, bank and several other facilities.

Quelle est votre impression générale concernant l'hébergement? Très belle location, batiments neufs mais construits dans la tradition toscane, seul bémol les casseroles et poeles sont réellement de mauvaise qualité et sur le site était mentionné qu'il y avait des moustiquaires aux fenêtre ce qui n'était pas le cas. Par contre 2 points très positifs à mentionner : il y avait un petit potager à la disposition des locataires, et la piscine est entretenue au sel et non pas avec des produits chlorés.
Avez vous eu de mauvaises surprises? non pas cette fois ci !!!
Avez vous d'autres commentaires? La responsable des locations sur place (Marianna) est adorable et très serviable

Die stressfreie Vorbereitung auf den Urlaub, da Frau Kainz uns so viel buchungstechnisch abgenommen hat, die netten Telefonate und Mails, und natürlich die herrliche Lage der Objekte, die einen guten Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen bildeten. Ganz speziell war die Gestaltung unserer Silberhochzei, als eine Köchin uns in unserer Villa ein vorzügliches Menü toskanischer Speisen bereitete.

wir sind nun schon seit einigen Tagen wieder aus dem Urlaub zurück und ich finde nun endlich die Zeit, mich noch einmal bei Ihnen zu melden. Ich möchte mich nochmals herzlich für die großartige Betreuung bei der Auswahl des Feriendomizils bedanken. Wir haben es dort sehr gut angetroffen und die Villa Mimosa war traumhaft schön. Auch die Verwalterin vor Ort war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Rundum eine ganz tolle Woche mit Besuchen in Siena, Florenz, Marina die Grosseto, Castello die Brolio und natürlich Weinproben an der Chiantigiana in Castellina, Radda und Greve sowie Gaiole.

I like To Tuscany, partly because it has a tremendous range of villas, and partly because (unlike many companies) it has an excellent website that provides what you really want when choosing a villa.

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
