Torre at Casenuove La Torre

Torre is the central most villa. It's is a tower villa and is spaced out over the three floors of the typical Tuscan tower that rises above the other villas. Each individual floor is a single room all with breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside that surrounds the villa.
This villa is entered on the first floor. Here there is the lounge
with two armchairs and a double sofa. To one side there is a
decorative fireplace and a table with 4 chairs. Under an arch on one
wall is the well equipped kitchen which includes gas hobs, oven and
fridge with freezer.
Steep stone steps lead to the next floor where there is the first of
the two bedrooms. This is a double bedroom which cannot be made into a
twin. There is an armchair in one corner and a few steps on one side
lead to a window which goes out of the tower and has amazing views.
The room is completed by a small en-suite bathroom with shower.
The third floor is also a double bedroom, this is the larger of the
two bedrooms. It cannot be made into a twin. There are windows on
every wall provide spectacular views of the Tuscan hills that surround
the villa. On one side is an en-suite bathroom.
Outside of the tower there is access to a terrace for dining al fresco, it is surrounded by plants providing it with some privacy.
Only small dogs allowed.

Casenuove La Torre is a lovely family run farm in the heart of the Chianti between two important Chianti towns, Panzano and Greve in Chianti. The property consists of a main building, a little cottage and a small villa near the farm buildings, for a total of 7 villas.
The communal gardens are slope away from the main building. To one side is the pool at a lower level than the villas. It's surrounded by a lovely paved sun deck furnished with sun-beds and umbrellas. Around this there is a pretty olive grove and beyond fantastic views of the rolling Chianti hills.
Surrounding all the villas there are the vineyards and olive groves of the farm. From all sides of the garden there are splendid, wide open, panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside with its rolling Chianti hills covered with vineyard, forests, olive groves and dotted with small stone towns and villas.
At Casenuove La Torre there is a small reception where guests can obtain assistance during the day.

Pool Info
The pool is located at a lower level than the buildings of Casenuove La Torre. It's nestled in the well maintained gardens that surround the villas, and has fantastic views of the countryside.
Encircling the pool is a paved deck dotted with sun-beds and umbrellas to enjoy the warm Tuscan sun.
The swimming pool is 12x6 metres and 1-1.5metres deep. It is open from May to September.
Nearest town
The nearest town is Panzano. This is one of the 5 main Chianti towns
and has a selection of shops and restaurants. It also have amenities
such as bank, post office and pharmacy.

I like To Tuscany, partly because it has a tremendous range of villas, and partly because (unlike many companies) it has an excellent website that provides what you really want when choosing a villa.

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
