This comfortably furnished country style Tuscan villa sleeps up to ten persons. Set amongst a mature well tended garden with its own private swimming pool. The property is in a great location only five minutes away from Gaiole with all the amenities a large town has to offer.

The property is surrounded by a lovely mature garden with an attractive private pool which is set in a secluded area of the garden partly screened by mature hedging and trees which are great to sit under during the heat of the day. The paved surround has plenty of sun loungers, parasols as well as a covered gazebo with armchairs and coffee table.

The villa is accessed via a set of iron gates, with a gravel driveway leading up to the house; to the right is the pool, and to the left is a covered parking area.The house is directly ahead and is arranged over three floors, the main door opens into the middle floor where there is a spacious open plan living area with a high vaulted ceiling, with sofas, fireplace and TV. The owner is very talented and examples of her needlework can be found on the soft furnishings and handmade patchwork quilts found throughout the villa.

At the far end of the main living area is a set of stone steps which lead up to a bedroom with twin beds, a wardrobe, armchair and a sofa bed. This is also the office area where the ADSL internet can be accessed. The room is open with a wrought iron balustrade separating it from the living space below although the beds cannot be seen from below.

At the bottom of the stairs to the first floor is a door on the right leading to a corridor which is where a further two bedrooms are located. The master bedroom is a lovely spacious room with a large window, there is a double bed, wardrobe and also a ceiling fan.

To the left of the master bedroom are the two bathrooms both with showers which are next door to each other. The second bedroom off this corridor is slightly smaller than the master bedroom and also has a double bed and ceiling fan.

Two steps down from the living area is the country style kitchen with a table and four chairs in the centre. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, gas hob, microwave oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There is also a utility room near to the kitchen which has a washer and dryer for guests use.

A door from the kitchen opens onto a covered terrace which is surrounded by brightly planted terracotta troughs. This is furnished with a table and eight chairs; sitting here you have views over the garden.

Across the garden is a paved terrace which has a table and chairs for sixteen people, nearby there is a very large barbecue where you can prepare meals for outside entertaining. From the garden there are five steps up to a further terrace which is where the pool is located.

Stairs from the living area close to the kitchen go down to the lower part of the house. This used to be the cellar and originally where the cattle would have lived. This is beautifully furnished with exposed brickwork with a stone archway separating the living area from the kitchen. The living area has three sofas arranged around a large fireplace HD TV a piano and a more formal dining area with table and chairs and doors leading to the garden.

The country kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, six gas hobs, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a large stone sink.

This lower floor has a further two bedrooms, the first is a small twin bedroom which is ideal for children (although the beds are full size) to the left is the bathroom with shower, and to the left of the bathroom is the second bedroom which has a double bed and a door leading to the outside, both bedrooms have ceiling fans.

Outside the property is set in a lovely mature garden with lots of brightly planted pots dotted around. There are several areas where you can sit and enjoy a meal or a glass of wine either in the sun or shade whichever you prefer.

Set in a secluded part of the garden partly screened by mature hedging and trees, the pool is a single ended Roman shape with internal steps leading down into the cooling water. The paved surround has plenty of sun loungers and parasols as well as a swing seat and covered gazebo.

The pool measures 10m x 5m with a depth of 1.6m. It is open from mid May to mid October. Pool towels are provided.

The nearest town is Gaiole in Chianti where there is a selection of shops and restaurants. This town is about 800mts away from Casa Camporata.
