Internal stairs take you up to a first floor hallway. Apartment Miramare is located on the left hand side. Tastefully decorated with the traditional Tuscan style terracotta tiled floors and tiled and beamed ceilings throughout, the apartment is perfect for couples looking for a relaxing holiday.

The front door opens directly into the open plan living area. The kitchen area is along the left hand side and has fitted units with electric oven and hob and fridge with freezer section. To one side there is a small dining table with two chairs and also two comfortable armchairs.

From the living area there is a door to the balcony which is furnished with table, chairs and a bench. Sitting here you have views of the hamlet and swimming pool as well as the surrounding Tuscan countryside.

The bedroom is also located off the living area and is comfortably furnished with a double bed side tables and a wardrobe. This is a lovely room with a large window which lets the light flood into the room. The ensuite bathroom has a corner shower, WC, basin and bidet.

Set in an elevated position with far reaching views over the surrounding countryside is hamlet Le Ragnaie. Set amongst olive groves and vineyards this attractive stone built hamlet consists of approximately ten apartments, each with their own balcony or terrace. All the properties are fully furnished and attractively decorated to a high standard. The hamlet has been designed in the traditional Tuscan architectural style using local materials where possible.

In an ideal location positioned only 2km away from the town of Montalcino where there are plenty of restaurants, shops and banks. The hamlet is surrounded by its own olive groves and vineyards and there is also a small lake a short walk away. There is a restaurant where you can choose to have a meal accompanied by wine made from the surrounding vines. You can purchase the wine and olive oil made by the owners as a wonderful souvenir to take home.

The shared pool is set on a lower terrace to one side of the hamlet and has a grassed surround furnished with sun loungers, tables, chairs and parasols and has a commanding position overlooking the surrounding countryside.

The hamlet is ideally situated for anyone who enjoys walking or cycling and you can hire mountain bikes from the hamlet. And for exploring Tuscany by car the cities of Siena, Grosseto, Pienza, Montepulciano, San Quirico d’Orcia and Florence all within easy reach for day excursions.

The shared pool is located on a lower terrace to one side of the hamlet. It has a grassed surround furnished with tables, chairs, sun loungers and parasols. There are also mature trees for shade which you can retreat under during the heat of the day.

The heated salt water pool measures fourteen metres by eight metres and is open from June to October. The pool is surrounded by a fence.

The historical medieval town of Montalcino is only 2.5km away from the hamlet. Here you will find a good selection of shops, banks, supermarkets, pharmacy, restaurants and bars as well as a local museum and a cathedral. Montalcino forms part of the Val d’orcia which has been designated a UNESCO heritage site; it is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and oak woodland.
