Angolino is a lovely 3 bedroom villa situated a short 1.5km walk away from Radda in Chianti, one of the five main historical towns of the Chianti. The villa is located at the end of a quiet road and is ideal for visiting the beautiful Chianti region with its rolling vine and olive tree covered hills.
Angolino has a lovely terrace around the villa perfect for dining al fresco or just to sit and enjoy the wonderful countryside. In the well-maintained garden there is a simple above ground swimming pool, which is good for a cooling dip after a warm day sightseeing.
To enter the villa you cross a terrace that surrounds part of the house. To one side of this terrace there are steps that bring you to the solarium, with its wonderful view, on the roof of the house.
The lounge is furnished with comfortable low leather chairs. To one side there is a fireplace in terracotta. The floor is tiled with typical terracotta tiles. Along one wall there is a wall unit with TV and video player.
From the lounge you can access the fully equipped kitchen that includes fridge/freezer, oven, gas hobs and dishwasher. In the kitchen there is a small dining table. The owners of Angolino can provide a laundry service should you need it.
To the other side of the lounge up 3 steps you pass under a beautiful stone arch into a large dining area that can seat comfortably 6 people. This room has a wonderful fish bone terracotta floor and wooden beams on the ceiling. To one side there is a coloured glass door leading outside to the terrace.
Through the dining room you enter a bright double bedroom that has a door that leads out onto the terrace and to the stairs to the solarium. This bedroom has a small en-suite bathroom with shower.
The other two bedrooms are accessed from the lounge; one is a twin room with the possibility on request when booking to be made into a double.
The other bedroom is with a double bed. These two bedrooms share a bathroom that has a tub and shower.
Laundry - owners provide a laundry service twice a week at no extra charge

Pool Info
The pool is located in the garden of the villa. It is a pool installed above ground and is good to cool off after the warm Tuscan days. From the pool area there are wonderful views of the Chianti hills covered with vineyards and olive trees.
The pool is open from end of April to end of September. It is oval shaped, 1.55 meters deep and 9.5 x 5 meters wide. There are steps on one side to enter it.
Nearest town
Radda in Chianti is less than 2km away. It is possible to walk to the town. Here you will find many typical shops and restaurants plus all other services that you may need.

I just wanted to write and say how much we enjoyed our holiday in the villa last week. The views from the top terrace were fabulous. The villa was very well equipped and the owners who lived next door where very attentive to any problems but completely unobtrusive.The pool was very private and very welcome as the weather was quite hot. We took note from other guests who had said the journey to town was on a busy road but managed to find divertions through neighbouring fields and only took us 20 minutes to walk to. Radda has far more restaurants than the website suggests and we recommend La Vigne closest to the villa for the best meal we had. We would also recommend Panzini for a visit. The villa is perfect for two couples as each can have their own bathroom. Radda is a lovely town and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Just got back from our week at Angolino. Paolo and Clara are wonderful hosts. We had a wonderful week. Just to let anyone going there it is a great location to tour Tuscany. Radda is a lovely little town and there is an internet cafe in the town that if you have your own laptop the connection is free for two hours. We had a great dinner at Le Vigne. Have the house red wine it is wonderful.

Unpleasant surprises: Not from To Tuscany. We were very unimpressed with the service of the tourist bus in Florence - ended up complaining to the company and being offered EUR30 compensation for such poor service.

Just a note to let you know how much we enjoyed our recent stay in Tuscany(September 30th - October 7th, 2006). We stayed at Angolino Villa in Radda in Chianti for one wonderful week. The house was fabulous and had everything that you needed including a great view and even a pool which we were able to use. The owners Paolo and Clara were gracious hosts and went beyond what was necessary to make us feel comfortable. If there was one small suggestion, it would be to have more towels available for showers etc. We would certainly stay there again for a longer period of time and certainly recommend it to friends. Its location also was perfect for touring Tuscany. Thank you for your help and we hope to contact you again shortly for a return trip to Italy.

Excellent , fantastic house . Glorious evenings on the rooftop terrace watching the moon rise over the Tuscan hills were special.

I like To Tuscany, partly because it has a tremendous range of villas, and partly because (unlike many companies) it has an excellent website that provides what you really want when choosing a villa.

Our accommodation, which cost less than £800 for the week, is in a converted stone farmhouse next to a 12th Century Franciscan chapel. There is a pergola shaded by vines round the back here we quickly settle into a rhythm of eating long pasta suppers while the shadows lengthen.
